Industrial Manufacturing & Fabrication

Congruent Concepts & Solutions offers many value-add services for our clients. We will work with you at any point in the process to manufacture and fabricate machines and parts.

We can start at concept stage and help you develop the custom machine to most efficiently accomplish your goals. We will evaluate the overall operation to understand your needs and limitations. Then we develop the best solution for the situation and move forward with shop drawings, to fabrication, then to installation and support. Or we can simply work on parts or replacement parts for your existing equipment.

Our goal is to provide you with innovative and safe concepts and solutions that will help you improve your business operations and increase the bottom line. We have the right Fabrication Machinery to get the job done either in our facility or in the field.

Our expertise covers many areas of industrial manufacturing and fabrication:

  • Sheet Metal Fabrication
  • Tool & Die
  • Industrial Welding
  • Structural Steel Fabrication
  • Machine Tool Assembly & Testing
  • Precision Machining

Sheet Metal Fabrication

Sheet Metal is a versatile product with a wide array of forms and uses. We have over 30 years of experience in working with a variety of sheet metals including aluminum, brass, copper, steel, tin, nickel and titanium. We work with a variety of gauges from 30 to 7.

We also have a well-developed skill set and capabilities working with custom metal fabrication:

  • Bending
  • Curling
  • Decambering
  • Deep drawing
  • Expanding
  • Incremental sheet forming
  • Ironing
  • Laser cutting
  • Photochemical machining
  • Perforating
  • Press brake forming
  • Punching
  • Roll forming
  • Shearing
  • Spinning
  • Stamping
  • Water jet cutting
  • Wheeling

Tool & Die

Our years of experience and large selection of equipment, allow us to handle virtually any size job. Our projects range from benchtop to large scale. To maintain high quality control, we manage the entire process from prototype, to engineering and design, to building, right in our facility in the Asheville, NC area. Our capabilities include conventional metal stamping, precision CNC machining, custom hand work parts and everything in between.

Industrial Welding

Much of our manufacturing and fabrication work requires us to weld. As such, we have a team who is very adept in all types of welding including flux cored, MIG welding, TIG, cold wire TIG, soft soldering, silver soldering, sub arc, roll overlay, brazing, hard surfacing, spot welding and resistance welding. We take the time and patience to choose the correct method for your project.

Our experience ranges across products including heavy equipment, precision equipment, tool and fixture design and building, new part design, replacement parts and general production machining.

Structural Steel Fabrication

Fabricated Structural Steel is the leading choice for non-residential framing systems. As you develop your project take advantage of the long list of benefits provided by steel including specific strength, sustainability, fire resistance, optimization of usable floor space, and shortened construction schedule to allow for earlier occupancy and revenue generation.

Also note that the single most important factor for managing the cost of the structural steel package, as well as the overall value of the project, is getting your structural steel fabricator involved early. The structural steel fabricator is most familiar with the cost and value related to design decisions, material availability and costs, and process optimization. Let us make your life easier.

Machine Tool Assembly & Testing

We know you use machine tool assembly to solve problems and improve processes. As such, this area is another value add for our clients. Whether we use your parts or fabricate them for you, we can assemble basic configurations or build multiple components into complex assemblies.

As the next step, we can perform critical testing operations, which allows you to spend more time on your primary operation. We can create a new test process or use your existing testing. We handle many types of testing including:

  • Functional hydraulic testing
  • Static/Inspection Testing
  • Life Cycle Testing
